Rooting for the Home Team
If you've been watching our videos lately, you know that Lousje has been glued to her television during the World Cup. Lousje is a die hard soccer fan, something her father instilled in her from a young age in Amsterdam while rooting for Ajax. She passed down this love of soccer to Tessa - she played the sport for 10 years herself.
After missing the 2018 world cup the Netherlands came back in fighting form, making it all the way to the quarter-finals. To celebrate the quarter-final game against Argentina Tessa fetched Oscar out of school early and the 3 generations of soccer fans headed downtown to Kully's Original Sports Bar.
You may already know Holland's fate, losing the game and a chance to play in the semi-finals. They fought hard, and played an awesome game into penalty shots! Though the Netherlands is out, you can still find Tessa and Lousje with their eyes locked on their TV's during the semi-final rounds.
