Cooking Up Something Good
We often talk about the many perks of living in the Niagara Region, and at the top of the list is the over 50 wineries surrounding us. What's even more special is that every winery has their own unique personality, offerings, style and often amazing culinary experiences.
The Good Earth Food & Wine Co. is one of those hidden gem wineries. Tucked off the beaten path is Beamsville, this quaint winery is not only known for their wines but their outstanding bistro. Locals and tourists alike flock to their lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch festivities.
You can even take your dining experience at Good Earth to the next level - they host cooking classes where you can learn tips and tricks from extremely talented chefs while you feast on their creations. Tessa, her partner Ryan, and their friends attended the final class of 2022 - Christmas in the Country, hosted by Christine Flynn and Sandra Taylor.
The foursome were promised yuletide dishes, hearty laughs and heavy pours - and it did not disappoint. The menu featured baked eggs with lobster and caviar, tortiere, and a Chocolate Tahini Pot de Crème.
