Once in a Blue Moon 🌙

We love patio season so much that we're still clinging to every last day of it. For the first time this season, Lousje made it out to George's Greek Village and their amazing patio with canal views.

George's Greek Village is a very popular restaurant in St. Catharines that has been keeping locals bellies full of gyro and souvlaki since 2016. Located along the Welland Canal and directly beside the Homer Lift Bridge, if you're lucky enough to be on the patio you can see a ton of boat traffic.

Last weekend Lousje spent a beautiful Summer evening under the blue moon on their patio enjoying delicious Greek food. A freighter came passing by, traveling through the lock system and under lift bridges on their way to Lake Ontario from Lake Erie. They stayed until it was quite dark and atmospheric, illuminated by only the blue moon and the lights on the lift bridge.
