Last weekend Tessa and her boyfriend Ryan jetted off to the lively and chilly city of Montréal. The trip, planned around concert tickets to see Vance Joy, was filled with food, family, relaxation and even more food.

If you've been watching our Behind the Seams videos for some time you may remember that Tessa's niece, Lucy, was once the brilliant woman behind the camera. Late last Summer, Lucy stepped away from her role at L&B and moved to Montréal to persue a Masters in Film Studies. Tessa jumped at the chance to spend part of her trip with Lucy, taking in the sights and treats of the city.

If you visit Montréal it is legally required (okay, not really) to stop at Schwartz's Deli for their world famous smoked meat sandwiches. Depending on the time of day there is likely a line-up, and even in the depths of Winter, it is worth the wait. They then headed over to another Montréal institution, Café Olimpico, serving the city's best coffee for the last 50 years.

Tessa and Ryan rounded out their trip with a culinary tour of the city, visiting two famously delicious restaurants - Garde Mange and Liverpool House. Special shout out to the hanger steak at Liverpool House, it was life changing. As a special birthday surprise Tessa treated Ryan to a day at the Bota Bota Spa - uniquely located on a boat in the Old Port of Montréal.

On her travel day, Tessa looked impossibly chic in the L&B Inge Wrap, black Pencil Skirt and Bamboo Leggings. She topped it all off with a very exciting new scarf - the L&B inspired Love's Pure Light scarf launching later this week! While out and about Tessa rocked the stunning Ruffle Skirt from Grizas 2022 Fall/Winter Collection.
