State Parks & Quaint Cottages
Last weekend Lousje took a quick two day trip with her partner Glenn to Letchworth State Park. Located in New York State, this beautiful park is often regarded as the Grand Canyon of the East.
On their way to their destination they made a pit stop in Lockport, NY where they toured the impressive wooden locks on the Erie Canal. The monument pictured above is a tribute to the men who built the canal all the way from the Hudson River to the Niagara River and Lake Erie.
Once arriving at Letchworth State Park they settled into their quaint cottage before touring the famous gorge and breathtaking waterfalls. Fun fact: Both Lousje & Glenn are not a fan of heights, but they still enjoyed their trip very much.
